Privacy policy

The short version

Electricity Cost Guide doesn't have accounts, doesn't ask for personal information, and runs no tracking beyond standard privacy-respecting analytics. Calculators run entirely in your browser — your inputs never leave your device.

What we collect

• Aggregate page-view analytics (privacy-friendly, IP-truncated)
• No names, emails, or account data — there are no accounts
• No calculator inputs are transmitted or stored server-side

Cookies

We set no cookies of our own. If advertising appears on the site in the future, ad partners may set cookies subject to their own policies; this page will be updated before that happens.

Third-party links

Source links go to EIA, DOE, and ENERGY STAR government sites. If we later link to retailers (e.g., affiliate links to power meters), those will be disclosed and labeled.

Your choices

You can block analytics with any content blocker without losing any site functionality. Questions: hello@electricitycostguide.com.
